چکیده

The flow dynamics of small-width wall-attached jets generated by a Coand-effect nozzle is investigated unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes simulations. data are validated comparison with hot-wire velocity measurements performed on the same configurations. exhibit complex topology strongly influenced not only spanwise vorticity (as usually observed in wall jets) but also component normal to and induced shear layer developing jet sides. This results an original U-shaped whose characteristics studied detail for three different mass rates. robustness larger range injected rates finally presented discussed terms momentum near wall. resulting profiles point out that our injector expected be promising candidate active control gas-turbine compressors aeronautical energy applications.

Time-accurate Aerodynamic Modeling of Synthetic Jets for Flow Control

This paper describes a computational study undertaken to determine the aerodynamic effect of tiny unsteady synthetic jets as a means to provide the control authority needed to maneuver a spinning projectile at low subsonic speeds. Advanced Navier-Stokes computational techniques have been developed and used to obtain numerical solutions for the unsteady jet-interaction flow field at subsonic spe...

Flow Control around Bluff Bodies by Attached Permeable Plates

The aim of present study is to control the unsteady flow structure downstream of a circular cylinder by use of attached permeable plates. Particle image velocimetry (PIV) technique and dye visualization experiments were performed in deep water and the flow characteristics were evaluated by means of time-averaged streamlines, Reynolds Shear Stress and Turbulent Kinetic Energy concentrations. The...

Attached gingival width and gingival sulcus depth in three dentition systems

Objectives: Attached gingival width (AGW) is an important marker for diagnosis of periodontal disease and normal gingival sulcus depth (GSD) is a sign of healthy periodontium. The aim of this study was to determine the AGW and GSD in3-15 year-olds with three dentition systems in Isfahan in 2001.   Methods: A total of 360 students (120 students in each system) eligible for this cross sectional...

Comparison of flow and dispersion properties of free and wall turbulent jets for source dynamics characterisation

The objective of this paper is to provide an investigation, using large eddy simulations, into the dispersion of aircraft jets in co-flowing take-off conditions. Before carrying out such study, simple turbulent plane free and wall jet simulations are carried out to validate the computational models and to assess the impact of the presence of the solid boundary on the flow and dispersion propert...

K.Khadiev WIDTH HIERARCHY FOR K-OBDD OF SMALL WIDTH

In this paper was explored well known model k-OBDD. There are proven width based hierarchy of classes of boolean functions which computed by k-OBDD. The proof of hierarchy is based on sufficient condition of Boolean function’s non representation as k-OBDD and complexity properties of Boolean function SAF. This function is modification of known Pointer Jumping (PJ) and Indirect Storage Access (I...
